I had similar arms at 19, it truly helped me stay in “cycles”, of light to heavy, weights, 1-2x a month.

Drop sets on arms are my saving grace. Arms can take alot of volume and I feel like they're never truly at failure without a drop set in there

I agree going heavy and having a separate arm day hitting twice a week have blown my arms. This year they were around 15 inches, now they are 17 inches.
