Not even being British, today I raised a glass to the remarkable old lady that seemed almost immortal. Regardless of how one feels about monarchies, her integrity was impeccable and her sense of duty unsurpassed. 70 years and more in service to her country. May she now rest well, few have deserved a it more.

I am not a Brit and not a monarchist. But I do feel sad because of Queen's death. I personally respected her based of what I knew of UK history and current times. Lived in London for a year, it was fine.
P.S. okay now thinking about that my life in London wasn't that good. But otherwise I stand for what I have wrote here.

It's funny hearing a British person not knowing everything about every monarch in British history. It's just a thing that I assumed was well known. It makes no sense to feel that way, but it's still how I feel.

The Dutch king came to throne in 2013, but the majority of Dutch euro coins circulating still have the former queen on it. So it’s likely you Brits will use money with Elizabeth II for quite a while until all money with her on it is returned to the central bank due to damage.

Just a fact: Fiji's currency had changed a few years back. The low res image you show is of the old $100 bill. Now all the currency replaced the picture of the queen with endemic animals. (The $100 now has a Nanai aka Cicada).
