Still saddens me. I was lucky enough to have met both the Queen and Philip when I was invited to one of her Royal Garden Parties at one of the palaces. I’ll treasure those memories and the invitation itself until I die. She had the most incredible blue eyes I’ve ever seen and such a cheeky grin. Altogether I saw the pair of them 3 times in my life.
