Queen Elizabeth II Is Dead

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II has died, her family has announced. Queen Elizabeth had been Monarch of the United Kingdom and Head of the Commonwealth Nations since 1952. She surpassed Queen Victoria, her great-great grandmother, to become the Longest Reigning British Monarch in 2015. And in 2022, Britain celebrated Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee in honor of 70 years on the throne. Queen Elizabeth was 96 years old.

She lived through so much, never lost her way and stayed true to her beliefs her entire life. She experienced 10 life times with all the accomplishments she obtained. I’m not from Britain but I still feel like I knew her. My mom would tell me stories when I was younger and it’s always resonated with me. RIP Queen. Thanks for everything you did.

RIP Queen Elizabeth II. I'm fairly young, and have never classed myself as a royalist - however I have always had so much respect for this dignified, strong and capable woman. I associate her with stability, steadfastness and a staunch sense of duty. Neutrality and graciousness. I'm a Brit and my country already feels different, it's not the same without her.
