There are many incidents that shaped the history, but this place shaped an entire religion. Let's explore Derinkuyu, which played an important role in the destiny of Christianity.
Derinkuyu is an Ancient Mega City and this underground city is a best example of underground dwellings.

Astonishing and terrifying in equal part. To have to live like that, hidden entirely underground, in order to be able to survive, is terrifying to imagine. And yet this is also a story of human courage and determination, against such daunting odds … an incredible video. This is incredible. I can’t even imagine living in somewhere like this, not seeing daylight for long periods (or at all?). I would love to find out more about the planning and construction of it.

Also, I didn’t realise how claustrophobic I was until now.

This is so encouraging to me as a Christian, to persevere and trust God more on my Christian journey. It inspires me to build a stronger relationship with God and I can see how faithful God is to have kept his people safe in that trying time. Only God revealed this idea to them I believe. And He made sure they survived. How faithful is our God! He is God even in hardship. I trust him More after seeing this.
He who began the work in us will bring it into completion. Praise grateful. Let's pray more for Christians around the world who are persecuted Even today in this age. May God give them strength and keep them. In Jesus name. Amen

Ancient cities are really amazing and full of mysteries. The engineerings and architectures really amaze you. I always wonder what/how their lives like before. My claustrophobia will attack me with this underground city

when i was in Nigeria, i can remember being taught this. i was really young then so it was so fascinating that people could live underground. as someone who is claustrophobic, i was not a fan of it. as a Christian, it scared me that that could have been my fate if i was born much earlier. it's a shame that in the UK, no one talks about this. both in church and school. history books just talks about whatever they want to talk about. no real history in the books
