How to make flaxseed tea -
1. Place the seeds in a blender and blend until you turn them into meal. Keep this powder in a jar with a lid in the refrigerator.

2. You will need to boil water with a cinnamon stick. The quantity depends on how much you want to make. I usually do 4 cups of water. Simply simmer it for about 15 minutes so that the water infuses.

3. Transfer the cinnamon infused water into a pitcher. Allow it to cool down until it is warm.

4. Add 1 tablespoon of the flaxseed meal per cup of cinnamon water. Stir it well.

5. Decide if you are going to sweeten the tea. If so sweeten it now. I use raw honey. Stir it well.

6. Chill it in the fridge and enjoy it for three to four days. Mix well before each serving. You can add some lemon to it when serving.

Thank you for your video! I'm a leading biological researcher on flaxseed and health (both human and farm animal). Your "grind and drink method" is arguably one of the most important things to have available in the kitchen. Grind-and-drink is my personal method. Notably, low-oil flaxseed varieties (or defatted flaxseed, if you have an oil press) might be even better than full-fat flaxseed...with regard to conditions like diabetes. Although full-fat seed is fantastic. I absolutely support your rationale. -William C. Weston

Love flax seeds and chia seeds which I put into my steel cut oatmeal bowl.
Being diabetic I don't use much sweetener. I like a little Citron honey infused with orange and lemon peel from Korea, I buy at Costco. Or, black organic honey from the Farmers Market. TFS Sweetie ! 😘
