I found flax seed is also good at suppressing lactic acid build up after heavy exercise. Thanks for the video, used the stuff for 30 years - love it.

If you buy the flaxseeds already ground they could get Rancid quickly. I buy mine whole and use an electric coffee grinder. Coffee grinders are great for spices as well. That is all I use my coffee grinder for. Also great for grinding small amounts of Oats ect., nuts ect.

I buy my flax seeds already ground. Guess I'll switch to the whole seeds and grind then myself. They go down easy in my kale shake.

Dr. Berg, I no longer have a gallbladder. Does it help to take flaxseed oil? Or would it equal to nothing? Thank you 🙏

Thanks so much for this, Dr. Berg! I am curious with regard to this - have you heard of the budwig diet? and if so, do you have an opinion on it as far as being anti-cancer, and including flax oil and flax seeds? I am curious how such might effect blood panels during the long term, etc. Thank you again!

I also grind it as needed ( I grind enough for about 1 week at a time and store in an airtight container in fridge ) and use for my self and add to the wet food of my 2 cats ( 1/2 teaspoon each ) - after grinding I sift so that it just disappears when mixed into food or drinks otherwise it can become lumpy - a bit of effort but well worth it

I use homemade flaxseed gel on my curly hair and it’s best thing I’ve ever used hands down. I use the same gel topically on my skin and it feels fantastic. The texture is hilariously like snot but it feels fantastic. 😂

I like the mention of walnuts. Walnuts have always been food. Flax was always grown as a fibre to make cloth, to be specific, linen.
