I gave up on football about 3 years ago after never really improving at all, an injury while playing Ruby that left me out for the rest of the football season for the next year. I came back recently and I want to get better, I've chosen to be a Centre Midfielder stepping away from always insisting I was a striker and I've seen that I'm alot better suited for the midfield. The tutorials have helped me quite alot and I hope to become even better

Football isn't just about making it as a pro, I love the game and I've played it all my life and I will continue to play it until I physically can't anymore. I'm 17 and I don't play for an academy so I'm well past being a prospect for any professional club, but I will never stop playing. I play because I love the game, I love training and playing matches on the weekends with my friends. If you are feeling down about playing, start a team with your mates, try to go back to enjoying the game more. Just don't quit.

Thanks for this man, this helped me so much. I want to tell u guys a story. So my first debut at the academy was a defender, real bad defender, my teammates were mad at me, coach were mad, my schoolmates were booing me, but that doesnt stop me. I began practicing at home, dribbling drills, shooting practice, and workouts. Then i began playing as MIDFIELDER. Still, i improved a bit than the last time i played, but the thing is, im still not comparable to my greatest teammate. Day by day, months after months, i realized, what's pushing me back? Was it the lack of compliments? Was it about the criticism? Then whats the point of playing? I pushed my self way harder, began training 3 hours extra, use that critism to turn negativity to a positivity, left behind and move on from the bad things i did, focus on team works. Now, i helped my team winning competitions, thank you for reading

I gave up on football 6 years ago, went to school to get a stable job and I've changed jobs several times but still did not feel fulfilled, always felt empty, and just 2 weeks ago I started training with a team again and was asked to choose between football and the good paying job, I can't believe myself that I chose football, it was hard getting back to my feet after all these years without training, but today at training I feel I'm getting it all back again, the skills and the strength is back, I'm glad I chose to do what I love the most(football). #recovery

Thanks for this vid Unisport. Last week I was playing really badly with my team, and that pretty much costed us a lost. It was just a friendly match between me and my friends and a few other people so it doesn't really matter. But after that lost I thought I wasn't good enough for football, I stopped training and just sit at home all day lmao. But this brought me back motivation to try again and always try again whenever I'm down. Thank you once again.

I’m very dedicated to my work ⚽️, but my parents would never believe in my talent and what I want to achieve as a footballer, they want me to go to school and become a successful doctor, but even if I’m a successful doctor, there’s more fun in doing what you love and getting paid for it.
I’ve stopped my everyday training, and I’m in school studying now. I feel like my dreams have been crushed by my own parents and my talent has gone to a waste.
I kinda understand them, it’s not easy to go pro as an African footballer, and many people that don’t go pro over here become regarded as useless to their parents.
But still I believe in my talent and my hard work.
Thanks for the video, I hope it can help who it can help, keep up the good work💪.

I do enjoy your vidz. I am a coach of youth football and have just had 5 players quit on me after just 3 months. In life you always start at the bottom before you can rise to the top. It's all about passion, resilience and character. Good success to all those out there who fall but are strong enough to get up and keep going!

I love football as much as Ronaldo loves it. I love the cheers in the stands. I love the moments with my teammates to score and celebrate but sometimes I get seriously injured and think about giving up. But when I think back: "I'm a player and I don't allow it to happen"....Don't give up but get up and continue your career path.

I’ve been working hard for about a year and have had many ups and downs. Many things in my life are causing me to feel lazy but I will keep going. I’m not stopping until I am the best version of myself.

After being benched all season, and still winning the cup i felt like giving up or changing my position to keeper (I am a defender currently). But after this, I'm deciding to stay as a defender and go through whatever comes my way. Thank you for the video unisport!

I feel frustrated too after pick up my injury. Can’t get back to my prime, feeling slow and hard to control the ball especially dribbling. Thanks for the video for cheering up!

Thanks for such an advice
I almost decided to give up
But right now it's a dream that meant to come true
And that dream has to do with me becoming a professional footballer ✊🏾⚽️⚽️
