This video really hit me. A month ago I remember watching this video at night when I felt like giving up. I fell asleep crying and had the worse day ever when I woke up and went to school. Right after school while I was waiting for my car to pick me up this random little girl goes up to me. The week before I gave her a page of stickers that I didn’t need anymore that she loved. The little girl says “You are one of the nicest people I ever met!” And gave me a unicorn eraser. I instantly thought of this video and almost cried of joy. For a few days I was feeling sad and felt lonely but thanks to love being everywhere I felt loved more and my own kindness came back to me.

Hey man, I just wanted to take the time to say how much this video means to me. It first came to me during a time when I didnt even know if I was gonna see the next day. I had nobody. Because of my head I thought no one loved me. But your video made me feel something i still can't quite understand. Suddenly I didn't feel alone anymore. I felt like there was someone out there who loved me. And there was. I just couldn't see it until I allowed myself to. And now, after going through similar things, I knew I had to look for your video agian. And after an hour of looking up keywords I remembered, I finally found it agian, after all these years. Four ish years ago, I found your videos online, while waiting for therapy. I’m graduating now and I’m still coming back on days when I’m feeling low, though I’m having a bit less of those. I just wanted to let you know that as an artist I know it’s hard to keep creating but I am inspired and lifted by your work; your silly animations and nonsensical songs now and in the past, all incredibly genuine and kind, which I’ve found is a much more scarce trait than you would think. Thank you so much for the work that you do. Truly, it does more than you know.

So, I went on Omegle last night after long. Tired of the weird people on there, I started watching YouTube and ended up with this video. The message is just so beautiful and suddenly I got an idea. I put up a post it note on the webcam and started playing this video whenever I got connected to anyone. All of them disconnected me hearing Danny’s deep manly voice haha. But then I got connected with this dude just sitting in his room and I played the video. I could see his expressions change as he heard. It was so amusing, I could tell he loved it. We ended up talking for hours about how his girlfriend left him for his best friend and how inspirational he found the video. And there I was talking to a man on the other side of the world at 3 am and he was pouring his heart out. I don’t know much about romantic love, I’ve never experienced it, probably it isn’t for me. But just how it affects us, it was enlightening. Because the love we see in fiction often seems far fetched and unreal.
