I have never heard it explained this way before. I never identified the underlying belief before. That’s the root of it.

I will have to listen to this again to get the point. A couple of months back I started to get comfortable with the idea that the cause of my mental and spiritual torment was scrupulosity was my problem and after listening to testimonies of people experiencing it I began to accept it and it gave me relief that God understand s my suffering and is patient and compassionate with my intrusive thoughts and doubts about everything. Recently after hearing something about other questioning whether they really have a mental illness and reverting back to the feeling that they are just bad people with terrible thoughts and not a mental illness. Another stage of questioning everything and of course it triggers feelings of fear of damnation

This was very helpful…the only problem is that I attach myself to another question that I can’t answer bc I’m stuck on the theme but what u did help me with is by sitting with the fear of the loop I create bc I willfully feed my ocd at this point but THANK YOU it was really helpful

Hi when iam talking with my friend on call if i didn't listen any word he said so iam getting anxiety to know about that word even if it is not important how i should respond
