PowerPoint presenter mode is getting a strong boost in features and functionality. That's awesome! as a teacher that uses PowerPoint a lot for classes, these new features add a lot of function and value to PowerPoint.

They should've made the mic/vid icon a toggle instead of having to click on the 3 dots per user. Maybe it'll be updated by the time it rolls out to everyone.

Unfortunately the new Shapes button (feature in the Whiteboard) shown a little after 3 minutes into the video is not yet compatible with the Windows 10 Whiteboard App. You get a placeholder with some message that the object isn't compatible. There's also lots of things in there that won't show up online or in a Teams meeting either if you add them from the Whiteboard app. They really need to get those two platforms for Whiteboard on the same page. This is an issue because when you launch the Whiteboard in a Teams meeting, you do get an option to open it in the app if you have it installed. SO, some people could be in the same Whiteboard within teams, others open it in the app, and they could be adding objects that the others can't see or interact with.

When you set the timer in the break out rooms, does it give the participants a count down before pulling them back into the main meeting?

When will rooms be created using tags? Is a pain, every class i want to put my students in groups (they already work in real and fixed teams) every single time.

Mike is there a way to upload content in the breakout rooms for the participants??? Cos otherwise I have to manual create channels and then add the breakout content for my participants

@Mike Tholfsen, when we present powerpoint in teams, we do not get access to the pen or highlighter :(. thats really annoying.

Hi Mike, I have a question. I grade, comment and send back on my students assignments in Teams. I asked them to make changes or correct something and send them back to me. Can they do that in the same assignmanet? or Do they have to undo and then send the corrected file? Can you show the students' point of view? Thanks for your help ;)

Hi, do you know how can I fix in the app a black screen on my monitor computer when sharing your screen on my other device? I do that to monitor what is shared and make sure they are listening, while I check the chat, however after the update I can’t anymore except if I log in online unfortunately I lose different features 😢 is there a solution for that?
