Ranking Star Trek Captain Pike's Hairstyles

Captain Christopher Pike holds an important role in the history of the Enterprise, but maybe even more significant than his sacrifice for his first officer is his commitment to an ever improving hairstyle. This video attempts to rank the nine major hairstyles of Captain Pike as seen in Star Trek: The Original Series, Star Trek: Discovery, Star Trek (2009), Star Trek Into Darkness, and Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.

Really good list. I was trying to forget the Kelvin timeline, but Strange New Worlds makes *all* the previous versions of Pike much more significant. Good to see that you included both The Cage and The Menagerie versions of Pike.
As for the beard in the first episode of SNW, you have to remember that the character was going through an existential crisis, and also that the actor (ironically) isn't big on grooming himself. He gets in the makeup chair and lets the professionals do his hair. But for the opening scenes of the first episode, I can see him coming onto the set and them saying, "no hair job, we'll shoot it just as it is now!"

The parted in the middle hair curtains is the worst. Looks like he’s hosting the Hunger Games. Pike is what we need right now- a manly man of action, with magnificent hair.

Your number 1 spot makes all the sense...I watched to the end to confirm. Good list, some surprises but we have the same top 3 hairstyles. Pike's Peak being my favorite too. I strive for it every day.
