The VERY BEST Songs Of 1964

In this video you'll find my favorite songs of 1964. Of course I wasn't part of this earth at that time so all the songs in the video are tracks I discovered years later. In the upcoming weeks I'm trying to continue my VERY BEST Series with all the years from the 60s.

Disclaimer: Some songs might be released at the end of 1963 so I took the creative liberty to put them in this video as it would be more in line with how charts were at that time. Remember: Even if a song was released then it might have taken some time to chart and especially if it was a song from overseas. Songs that I already used in my Best Of 1965 however weren't eligible.

In 1964 I was 5yrs old, , but I remember these songs, , we watch these singers on our 19 inch black and white tv..all our family gathered together and watch these programs..the good old days..❤❤❤

I was 16 in 1964. I remember all the songs except the German and the Swedish songs. Good choice. I'll watch more.

My brother who is 7 years older than me decided to get rid of his vinyl records. I took them all, original Beatles, Animals, Dave Clark 5, many of the tunes here that were on the air in Canada. After hearing this list I played them again. This was when vinyl was thick, not the flimsy crap in the late 70s and 80s. Although some are rather worn, still sound great compared to today’s tinny sound when streaming.

Exceptional list and lots of variety! There were other genres going on besides top 40 rock for sure! Heck, all the way into the early 70s "Dominique" was still played pretty frequently on the radio! I'm also delighted to see Lulu, Millie Small and Siw Malmqvist among them.
