In this video you'll find my favorite songs of 1984 or songs that I discovered that year. Originally I uploaded my first 'VERY BEST Of 1984' video in 2014, then a 2nd version in 2019 but since then a) the videos have been destroyed by blocks and b) some songs have aged well and other not. So here is my newest ranking in a remastered version of the video.

The BEST music came from the 60’s through to the end of the 90’s. Born in 53 . I should know lol. The best song that I really love is Drive by The Cars with Benjamin Orr on lead vocals and bass. They had several great songs out and Benjamin Orr had a solo album “The Lace” it’s so good.

You should have included “On The Wings Of A Nightingale” by the Everly Brothers. It was a song written for them by Paul McCartney and it was included in the 1984 comeback album “EB 84”.

I've watched other yrs best videos in this series....no rhyme or reason to order they are in but found countdowns interesting...but in 1984 to only have Purple Rain from Prince is utterly ludicrous....When Doves Cry is one of the greatest songs in pop leaving out a Bohemian Rhapsody or Billie Jean in their given yrs....soooo, that's the last time I'll be watching your ridiculous Let's Go Crazy not in either....how about drop out 2 of the 3 Alphaville songs 🙄🙄
