The VERY BEST Songs Of 1975 // RE-UPLOAD

In this video you'll find my favorite songs of 1975. Now we are entering the times where I do have some recollection and memories including some of the early songs I really liked. And of course there are other songs that I learned to love later in life including the #1 song which is in my opinion the best song ever.

Disclaimer: Some songs might be released in 1974 at the end of the year so I took the creative freedom to put them there as it would be more in line with how charts were at that time. Remember: Even if a song was released then it might have taken some time to chart and especially if it was a song from overseas. There is one song in there that was first released in 1969 but only got a release in Europe in 1975, so that's why it's in there.

I thought that number 15 (Stand by your man) was released earlier. I just read your description and found that it is the one that was released in the US in 1969 and hit Europe in 1975. Funny how the music business works.

Having lived and worked in Germany (West) during the 70's, this ranking is no surprise. Antenne Bayern, NDR, ZDF and even Armed Forces Network (AFN) ceaselessly played these tunes. Consider myself to be lucky to have had the experience.

My favourite all time track in the top 10, Shine on/ Pink Floyd, my favourite Genesis track, Carpet Crawlers also in the top ten and favourite Led Zeppelin track Kashmir also listed. I can't complain.

I was a soldier in 1972 and I listened to Roger Whittaker's The Last Farwell when I had to leave my girl. Now I hear it here at the best of 1975 ???. That can't be right.
