Every cult has an self made elite class.

The terminology sounds like something a group of sixth graders would make up for their secret club. 😆

WHAT? Oh wow, this is how gurus go down the path to cult and sexual abuse. OMG, this is horrifying, cart blanche to do anything, sick. That misses the entire reason to practice morals and to care about your impact on others, and the foundations of love. This is a smack in the face to Christ.

This is such a contradiction.
Sin is evil, but if you are super religious it's OK.
Spare me.

It's their way of welcoming you to the inner circle of knowing things that are not told to lesser members. It's a way of controlling you by giving you something special and using it as a lever against you. It's a huge lie about the Lord and about the body of Christ.

A “free pass” to commit (grievous) sin…

No, this is false. There is no such ordinance or rite, etc. where a person can commit any sin afterward, and that’s ok. Being Godly means being Godly. That’s it. The WHOLE PURPOSE of EVERYTHING about the church is to help people to be MORE Godly, not less.

This is patently false.

My mother was a physically abusive very controlling communal narcissist. Of course she had to tell me the moment she had this done in the temple. Since she'd never asked for anyone's forgiveness for the abuse she doled out to us over the years I just kind of laughed at it. I'm sure she never planned on sinning but loved to tell everyone else how sinful they were! SMDH😂

Would help if we knew what "top leader" was her father.

They don't tell you any of this when they're recruiting you. There are a lot of things they conveniently omit from the missionary lessons. I guess they figure if you find out the crazy stuff a little at a time, you won't run screaming away.

Mercy cannot rob justice and justice cannot rob mercy. No one can sin and be saved in the Kingdom. Satans plan was to save us in our sins. Heavenly Father states that “He cannot look upon sin with the least degree of allowance “.

Man that's better than a get-out-of-jail-free card.

That lady knows so little of Christ, so she just appears to spin a web to ensnare those that will be as beguiled as she is. Close your ears and go to the Lord for your answers and the “the truth will be manifest to you by the power of the Holy Ghost”.

The insanity is that they literally elevated themselves to the level of God, pushed Him off His throne and decided they knew better than God Himself! 😮

This explains much. So much of the arrogance of many of the men and why they get creepier and creepier for the most part. I could feel it as a kid.

This couldn't be farther from the truth

I don't understand this teaching.
Jesus washes the disciples feet.
Jesus showed them through service like a servant.
You don't get a free pass for sins
You have to do the will of God and not just hear it
Jesus Christ said " if you love me, keep my commands"

I have never heard of this before. There is no such thing as a free pass for sin. I don't know if she even knows what she is talking about. I hear so much stuff about the LDS church that is not true.

Years ago a military sgt invited a group of us young guys on post to his house for big spaghetti supper with all the trimmings. We went, ate up, enjoyed, even offered to help clean up. Were told all was good & to relax in living room. A few minutes later two "missionaries" came to door, came in, gave spiel about "one true church". This reminded me of Am..y or timeshare sales hook. Most of us were either protestant, a few Catholic.
We avoided this sgt as much as possible, it was never brought up again. We did not like trickery of a cult.
