You know what's funny, I used to get proxy discipline warnings. If my Mom and I were in a store and another parent's child started throwing a full-on tantrum, being all kinds of disrespectful to their parent, and making a scene, my mom would turn to me looking all mean and angry like, "Mess around and try me. See what happens...." I'd be like, "Ma, I didn't even do anything, why you getting mad at me???" 😭.

Over 40 years later I realized how crazy my Mom really was. 🤣

On GOD, I got separated from my mom in the store as a preteen and couldn't find her. I got scared...I called out "mom!!!" and every woman in a 5 mile radius turned around. So I called mom by her first name an put some attitude to it.."DENISE!!!" Less than a heartbeat later she was IN. MY. FACE. I had to back up an explain myself. Life flashed before my eyes and it was a hot minute before she calmed down.😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
