Isn't it odd that they are basically AI robots who look like humans, yet they demand control over everything? My ex lived in a rented apt and had no car or assets per se, yet when l asked if she generally handled the money in all her relationships she said, "of course."
It was my first experience of realizing l had tolerated all her crazy control issues to date, but nobody with zero assets is going to handle my real estate holdings or my money...ever! How she figured she was more competent with finances than me when she had nothing to show for her life of working paycheck to paycheck really made me wonder. Where she got the gall to assume l'd let her squander my money on crap that had no real value was my first huge wakeup call. I knew l'd never agree to giving her control over my assets, and a huge argument ensued when l asked her to explain why the one without money would be in charge of the more affluent one's assets. How dare l question her judgment?! Delusional for sure.
