someone who follows healer Bhaskar says the opposite- he doesn’t drink and doesn’t allow anyone who stays at his house drink water 30 mins before and after a meal. If he catches someone violate this, that person ultimately has to succumb to his 30 mins lecture how that water has put off the stomach acid that was preparing to digest and absorb all that food and its nutrients..

Now I am confused after hearing this opposite rule from a doctor 😮😮😮

One doctor said that, we shouldn't drink water immediately after meal, drink after 1 or 2 hrs. I'm confused which one to follow doctor, plz suggest.

The correct way to drink water is to drink 1 to 2 glass of water, 45 to 30 min before meals as the acid is properly formed in the stomach for digestion of food then you can have water from Half to one glass of water while having food only if you are having dry foods like roti, chapati try to have more water content food as our body withholds 70 percent of water so try to have more water content in food like rasam, sambar, butter milk etc so that you can avoid that half to one glass water and also you can chew more time the food so that mouth secrets more saliva which is very essential for body but don't have water before last 15 spoons of the food if are drinking the water while having food so that the acid in stomach is should not get diluted completely, and don't drink water immediately after food even though you have an urge to dring water(except hiccups) wait for 30 to 45 min so that proper digestion is started in stomach then you can drink 1 to 2 glass of water for secretion of proper hormones and making proper function of organs and cells to help digestion. Also don't over eat more as digestion also requires space in stomach for the movement of food from stomach to liver and different organs so the air molecules in stomach helps in movement and proper digestion easily. If you don't believe what I say Just try for few days by yourself and you can feel the difference and you can also try what others say and you can only decide which is best for your digestion system, Thank you.

I am not a doctor, but what I have experienced and read is that if you drink water right after food, it digests the food much faster than it normally will. This creates hunger again in a short period of time encouraging to eat more.
Also read on internet that this fast digestion increases blood sugar level.

Many people in comment are saying that they heard somewhere that we should actually not drink water after and before eating...
And guys 😄 I have also heard the same thing from my elders that at least keep 1 hour gap before drinking water after eating a meal...
So those who r confused lemme give a suggestion : Try both methods, check which suits you well and then apply that method only.
Like in my case, when I followed my elders and didn't drink water after eating....my body used to get dehydrated fast and then you know all those problems due to dehydration started.
But when I thought : lemme just try drinking water after every meal (Luke warm water mainly)...guess what?
It worked wonderfully🤩 I was feeling much hydrated and healthy.
You don't know how worse dehydration can be....so follow your body and do as it says, don't follow anyone else in such confusing situations.
EVERY BODY IS DIFFERENT!!!

In naturopathy they mention not to have water up to 2hr post eating a meal .. but you are asking to drink immediately.. also they mention to take water 30mins prior to meal

Lot of comments saying water shouldn't be taken with meals .. 😅
That is because of psudoscience strongly imposed on us by quacks and people who fall for pseudoscience
1. Myth 1-Water dilutes digestive enzymes..
Fact -Our body produces enzymes as required . Hence dilution doesn't happen

Fact - water helps in break down of ingested food. Hences helps in digestion

In ancient times, when food was scarce, it made sense to eat as much food whenever available and not fill stomach with water.
Now we are taking food more than required for our sedentary lifestyle. Hence drinking water with food helps to restrict calories

To become gastroenterologist, one has to study 6 years mbbs+3 years md medicine+ 3 years dm gastroenterology+ years for clearing neetug, neetpg pg, neet ss or equivalent exams.His knowledge about gastroenterology is far higher than any pseudoscience guys telling water shouldn't be taken with food

Bless Dr Pal for finally breaking the myth! I've always intuitively known that water is the miracle needed to aid digestion well, and there's not a single soul, including doctors, (other than my parents and eventually my husband) who has not guilted me for coming with an attached water bottle. I drink before, after, and along with every meal, and only room temperature water. My first intake in the morning is at least 750mL of water, and at least two glasses with every meal. Thank you Dr Pal, for restoring faith in humanity 🙏
