Welcome to this Unlock Flexibility: Post-Run Yoga Stretch Practice. Taking the time to stretch after a run is incredibly important for your body. You will unlock your flexibility as most runners skip the post-run cooldown stretch.

Build a strong body with yoga, learn to control, strengthen and master your body.

As runners we neglect strength work. Let's be proactive which will help us run better, run for longer and run injury free. Work on your strength and spend more time running than you do injured, it's that simple.

It's important to remember... PRACTICE NOT PERFECTION! Don't follow me and try to perform the 'perfect' pose or move, listen to your body and discover how it feels for you, Don't force it!

I’m 65 and just started a walk run program… I have been experiencing tightness in my psoas and I hope these stretches will continue to help me.. I loved this post workout stretch so much!

Just did my long run ever (24km) and this was the perfect cooldown!

I always find that that lying down quad stretch works the best! Nothing ever gives me the same feeling in my quad

I had 19k to do today, the last half being against the full force of Storm Kathleen. I got home feeling much stiffer than usual so this was perfect. Thanks, Ash!

Hi, I’ve just ran 8km and the last 500 meters were tough. But this session of stretching have helped to recover and feel better about my run session 😊 thanks

First time for this particular post run routine. Hips and hamstring not great at the moment, can feel the difference after this routine. Thanks as always Ash 👍

Loved this one after a tempo interval run this morning. I feel much less tight and definitely more relaxed (I was yawning towards the end, in a good way!). Thanks, Ash.

Great video mate - really loving this channel. Started running again and this is really helping my body recover. I’m 6ft4 and 225 lbs so the muscles and ligaments take a pounding with every outing, but your videos really make me feel better. Keep doing what you’re doing!

I’ve been doing a post stretching routine for a while after running. Deciding a few weeks ago to incorporate yoga and meditation. Been doing other videos and came across this one. Very much enjoyed this one. Keep up the great work

Thank you for this video! I did it after a 10 km run, I usually do just standing cooldown stretches without a mat, but today I felt like I needed more and this session was perfect. I added a couple more stretches after the end of the video, on my back (it felt natural to do them after ending the video on the belly).

I did your pre-run stretch and then came here for the post-run yoga and thoroughly enjoyed both. I think I was able to stretch everything I needed before and after the run, and it felt good! Thank you! Looking forward to learning more from your channel 😁
