Today’s the first day of my journey to running a marathon. Currently I can’t run for 90 second intervals without passing out 🤣 😁 it’s a start and better than I was last year, so yay me!! Anywho, this stretch was EXACTLY what I needed. Thank you much Ash!

I enjoyed this. I had never paid attention to post run stretches even after 4 months of running consistently. But it was telling on me, so I decided to search post run stretch on YouTube and found you.

I just did a 5km run and this is cherry on top.

Love that the class started with pigeon and included lizard and wide legged straddle fold. Ended with some side stretches in that last position. Now to the rest of the day!

This stretch touches upon those exact joints which would be sore after a 10k or any sort of endurance run. Absolute gem of a recovery routine. A big fat thumbs up to you, Ash!

You asked how my run was, so here it is! I started running last April and I was overweight. I could barely run a 5 km and that's pushing my heart rate to 200 bpm, almost passing out. Today I run my farthest (7.6 km) faster than my old 5 km pace, on a sub-ideal condition (just started my period, low blood pressure, and dehydrated) with moderate effort and I feel I could keep going! This stretch is lovely to close my small accomplishment today, thanks Ash!

This was a great stretching routine! I found a lot of guided stretch videos that are just music and they don’t explain how to do the stretch or why. I appreciate the fact that you explain it as you go. If you’ve ever watched me try to take a dance class you’ll understand why I can’t just copy what the person is doing if they don’t explain it well 😂

This is the first video of yours that I’ve found but your entire vibe is so wholesome. From the way you explain about dynamic stretches to the way you ask about our run/day to the wholesome dad personality. And as someone who’s really flexible in some places and horribly stiff in others the variety of stretches in this video is absolutely perfect. Good luck on your running journeys everybody!

I've been a runner for over 10 years but was never great at fitting in a serious post-run stretch. You blew my mind pointing out the mental health benefits! I've realized that I can get better at running not only with training but also being more conscientious about how running fits into my day. Thank you for the great video! :) Btw, anyone else go all-in from the top and scratch their face when he scratched his? 😄
