This was a better character than this film deserved. I would have totally watched a film called "The Auditor", completely separate of the Hellraiser/Hellbound Heart mythos. I actually think making it a Hellraiser film HURT it more than anything else.

I love how at 4:01 you can see that parts of the hellish machine were made in China. Even in hell they outsource their manufacturing to Chinese factories.

The assessor really really creeped me out hahaha didn't think the rest of the movie was that bad! He and the auditor added a very different touch!

Honestoy, the auditor is the right kind of fear for hell; cold, efficent, without mercy or pleasure.
What is worse; a creature who tortures you to forfill some sick delight or someone who is just doing his job?

How is this hell? It's an ordinary day at any Government ran facility when you need some documents taken out (like a drivers license etc.)

God what a great voice he has. Always loved characters that have some kind of glasses or masks that hide physical emotions so they do these quick head motions and bobs

There are some cool parts in this movie. This is one of them. The idea of the auditor is cool. Score is nice. Dialogue is spooky. "What is this place? It isnt." I wish hollywood would make things more gritty with the same level of professionalism and detail unlike this movie. But it has its moments. Nothing beats the OG hellraiser.
