While I'm a fan of alternate history, I can't see Eva Braun being like this. By all accounts she was more concerned with cosmetics and fashion than anything Nazi-related. She was so concerned with looking pretty she actually demanded Hitler allow the banned production on cosmetics to resume, and Hitler thus ordered Albert Speer to do so.

Now, if they had somehow written that Joseph and Magda Goebbels had survived, I could see Magda being like this. Or even Margarete Himmler. But not Eva.

Eva was totally devoted to her husband, Adolf.

The idea that she would ever have criticised or opposed him is ridiculous.

This is so silly. They made Hitler cartoonishly evil and saying cartoonishly evil things.

It’s nice to see these two kids stayed together for all these years. It seems like no one stays married anymore!

This is like transcribing a paper written by a high school student who did zero research for a project he did not care about and using it as a basis for a TV show.

As a German it is so sad how poorly Americans portrait Hitler. He is always that insane guy bragging how evil and bad he is. But that does not fit him a single bit. There is a German movie called "Er ist wieder da" which means "He is back again". There you see a really good portrait of him. What really makes him scary are 2 different things.

First he always has a vision, a dream of a greater future. And he was so charismatic that you really wanted to believe in what he said. He was not that crazy dude from the beginning. He was a normal guy like you and me which made him so sympathic. And once you realise where you have gone with him, it was way too late.

Second, when you look in eyes, he stares right at your face, but somehow you realise that what he sees is not your face. He sees right through you into some greater vision. It does not even matter what he says, you just realise that whatever path he sees, it is covered in blood and by dead people.

Udo still doing these roles is a blessing lol

In this timeline Hitler would have been in his late 80s at this point. I don't think he would have ever lived that long with the various health problems he had and the amount of drugs he was on.

Udo Kier fits perfectly in this role. He is so underestimated actor. I like his acting his Intonation you can clearly hear That he played theatre before Movies. He is simply Great!

What even is this show? I've seen a bunch of clips and got curious, and it turns out they never even took out the two main bad guys in the finale. And apparently Hitler is alive and is now an Bond villain? And Eva Braun looks like she's 30? I'm starting to see why it only got two seasons.

The real Eva would never have spoken to Hitler like that

So funny hearing faint traces of Udo's cologne accent delivering lines that sound like they were written by a highschool german teacher.

You can tell he's gone more crazy with age

I'd also like to give G Khan, his boys, and their heirs some credit. Genghis himself did nothing over "200 years". He lived about 65 years and his main campaigns lasted just over 20. For total fatalities from all causes of mass murder, war, and auxiliary disease caused by war and destruction, over the 2 centuries of Mongol power, figures vary widely but between 37 and 60 million- that's at least comparable. Sure it took 200 years, but they had to move by horse and use bladed weapons, arrows, fire, and siege engines. Takes time.

I can’t believe they made another series of this silliness.

Hitler moves around pretty well for a man around 90 and afflicted with parkinson's disease.

That truly was a brutal lesson physically and metaphorically

As a German I always knew Eva Braun as hysterical and not beyond measure intelligent.

All in all she was an insignificant person, concerning her technical potential.

The actor playing Hitler really knew his stuff, right down to the accent. Or maybe…
