how to export in After Effects without Media Encoder

In this tutorial, I'll show you how to convert an AVI file into MP4. Unfortunately, after effects doesn't have an option to render to MP4 directly. Officially, Adobe recommends using Adobe Media Encoder. Luckily, there is another program which comes absolutely for free that you could use to convert the .avi into .mp4 efficiently. Hence, in this video, I'll demonstrate the workflow from after effects into handbrake and therefore mp4. MP4 files are more portable files that you can use in iPhone, iPad, as well as they take considerable less space on your hard disk as compare to after effects AVI files.

Some people think why Handbrake is asking to install another program called .NET framework. .Net Framework is not another program, it is just a library of useful tools that other programs could use to work with Windows. Handbrake uses some of the resources from Microsoft Framework which is totally normal for a software. So, if Handbrake is asking you to install Microsoft .Net Framework, please install it so that Handbrake could work.
