How to select area to export

🎁 FREE browser extension to grow your YouTube channel:
If you have a composition that you want to export, either a part of it or the whole composition, you can easily decide that in the exporting step.
To show you what I mean, I'm going to set the work area to a part of my composition and then add it to the render queue. I do that by going to File, Export, Add to Render Queue.
Here, I click the text next to "Render settings" and then I change the "Time Span" to either "Length of Comp" or "Work Area Only". Then, I click "OK" and then "Render" at the top right of the window to start exporting.
