'Quiet Quitting' without quitting your job

A new term is making waves in the workforce where employees are quietly quitting by doing the bare minimum.

the term "Quiet quitting" is a misnomer for "doing what you're hired to do". No more, no less. Businesses apparently struggle if they can't get their workers to over-contribute for free.

Yes I work. I’m a nurse. I used to be asked to stay over and pick up a lot. But I’m tired and done. I do my hours, I’m not doing anything extra or helping anyone. And I block all work numbers so no one can call me on my off days. If you need to talk it’ll be at work during work not a break and if you miss that window I’ll see you on another work day

How to deal with it? Pay a livable wage to start

Employees: be like yes free lunch best day ever

Me: how about a permanent position so I may have benefits, paid time off, holidays paid, and etc..

Especially when you have new management come in that assume they are making smart decisions by giving their friends positions that their friends are not skilled educated or technically capable of conducting. Definitely do the bare minimum now and love it. Brought me peace and allows me to focus on my wellness. Employers careless about you and only look at having a warm body on board. As a result, I slow pace work all work and begin packing up 15-20 minutes prior to end of shift. #ByeFELICIA
