Ryzen 5 3600 on a cheap b450 motherboard with a rx 6600xt or a 6650xt is not only a more budget friendly combination , it loses negligible performance while beeing cheaper and easier to build since ryzen 5 3600 go for around 50-70 euros used and in my country right now 75 euros brand new (the same stock cooler can be bought with as little as 5 euros in pristine new condition since almost everyone that bought a ryzen 5 3xxx bought an aftermarket cooler )

The 6600xt is considered a kind of budget GPU while the 5600 is considered more of a midrange chip, I’d pair it with a 6700xt since prices are dropping, or a 6650xt least, or getting a slightly worse CPU like the 5500 to put more into the GPU that will ultimately give a bigger performance boost in games

I wouldn't consider the r5 5600 budget it's more midrange I'd say budget would be the r5 5500 or the i3 13100f or something

This is literally my pc, except I also have 32 gb of ram and 2tb m.2 ssd, so far it’s been amazing I can run any game I want on either high or max settings.

I played Diablo 4 on max settings perfectly fine, baldurs gate 3 max settings, red dead 2, kingdom come deliverance, Witcher 3 all maxed setting with no performance issues
