To be attacked like that in your sleep would be hell, not to mention the mental anguish that goes with it. God bless you brother for sharing this valuable information and doing it for free! For someone who recently battled an infestation, it was small/mild, nothing crazy! But here are my tips and please use it to your full advantage no matter how big or small your infestation is. This is going to be a LONG READ!!! But it’s helpful!!!

1: Buy mattress, pillow, and box spring covers/ encasements. Specifically made for bed bugs because it has a material that bed bugs have a hard time crawling on. Also, once the covers/ encasements are on, Bed Bugs can’t come out and they can’t go in! Bed bugs are known for hiding inside of your mattress and mainly your box spring. If you’re an aggressive sleeper or sleep with someone, buy two! Just in case one of them rips or tears.

2: Buy bed bug interceptors, put them on the legs of your bed frame, so when they try to climb up to your bed to bite you, they’ll get trapped! You can also put this on the legs of your furniture or on other bed frames in your home for PROTECTION. The first step to stop the infestation from getting worst, is to not let them bite you! That’s how they turn into adults and lay eggs, with a lot of blood consumption.

3: Buy CimeXa powder with a powder duster tool from a company like Amazon. Put some of the powder inside of the bed bug interceptors (the inner part where the legs of your bed frame or any other furniture would go, not the outer part.) These powders will legitimately kill all stages of bed bugs within a 1-3 day period, including every other insect as well! You should use this powder in corners, holes, cracks, under your mattress & under your furniture. But use a face mask with gloves when you’re applying the powder and do not over use it. This powder should be applied like dust, if you throw chunks of powder all over the place then insects will just find a way around it. This powder also stays where it’s been applied for A LONG TIME! Unless you vacuum it up with a strong vacuum or you clean it up with a liquid substance. If you do then you’ll need to reapply it but this powder destroy insects!!! Once they walk directly onto/ over it. A lot of people would mention DE, but apparently it causes breathing problems and takes longer to kill bed bugs compared to CimeXa. So buy CimeXa with a powder duster tool.

4: Keep your bed away from the wall! Make sure your sheets aren’t hanging off of the bed, or you don’t have a charger or anything that the bed bugs can climb onto without them using the legs of your bed frame. If you wake up and find your pillow or blanket on the floor, leave it there! Dont pick it up and use it to go back to sleep.

5: Buy ortho bed bug spray or crossfire! It kills all stages of bed bugs on contact! And it kills bed bugs even after it dries, by leaving traces of poison that sticks to their body, they have no resistant to it either. So spray these in areas where there’s bed bug activity or places where they’d most likely hide. Cracks, corners, holes, etc… remember that they hide CLOSE TO YOU! Rubbing alcohol is great too! But once it dries then it’s pretty much useless. Alcohol only kills stages of bed bugs on contact! Ortho and crossfire leaves behind poison that sticks to all insects. These sprays aren’t flammable and they will not stain or damage your furniture. So you can completely spray down your walls, floors, carpet, furniture, etc… without any negative effects. They do have a scent, but it’s not a super strong or bad scent at all.

Air mattress, glue strips. Vacuum floor, Place air mattress, or a pallet on the clean floor. Surround your sleeping space with glue strips. When you start catching nymphs change the glue strips so it's easier to spot new bugs. When you don't see any new bugs, because they need to feed on you to become adults the last will only be nymphs pick up clean up and you're done. . Bed bugs travel up to 50 feet so it's best they come to you rather than you chasing them. A pretty safe time estimate seems to be 2 weeks. You have to wait for all the nymphs to be born and come out. Remember, you are the bait. Protect yourselves.

Listen to this man he knows what he's talking about and never underestimate just how difficult it is to get rid of them and the best way to get rid of them is to be constantly vigilant as long as you take them seriously you should be ok and remember that they don't like dirty places so it's not embarrassing to have them it means that you have a clean house!!!

Omgoodness we travel a lot and recently I text my husband because I woke up and my arm was itching and I had like 3 red welps on my arm. He said I hate to say this but Honey I think we have bed bugs 🪳 I said ain’t no way. First I prayed then I went searching lo and behold I found 3 under the box spring 😢 I tore our bedroom down from the windows to the wall.

I literally haven’t slept in weeks to be honest I’ve only seen 3 or 4 in motion between 11 and 3:30 to 4am.

One day I decided to take a nap during early morning around 9am and woke up to see one hot tailing it down our headboard towards my pillow 😢

I’m a very strong person however mentally it’s hard and exhausting 😢

I never thought about the phone charger as you’ve mentioned. We are just today seeing a bed bug on a pillow. I picked it up & killed it. I used a magnifying glass to examine it. Then I looked in the corner seams of the mattress & saw tiny specs. Can anyone tell me is this bug droppings or is it babies or eggs? I have no experience with this ever in my 63 years. I have to reconsider the whole bed now because our bed is a wooden platform that has 4 drawers on 3 sides. I have already ordered the Cross Fire spray @ a sprayer. I’m going to order the mattress covers as soon as I get the measurements. THANK YOU SO MUCH for making this video! I have been online almost 5 hours & you explained it all so well. God bless you!💟

Great info will pass on to friend who has Airbnb. I heard rubbing alcohol on your skin prevents or repel them from biting skin. DMT powder is strongest & cost effective can be sprinkled on bed floors etc or bicarbonate of soda & vacuum after or spray with tea tree oil 20 drops 200ml water good to do before using mattress cover. Good to use on pillows too also to get bug free covers from them too.

All of the prevention tips are valid but what worked for us in a rental property was a product called Aprehend. It's a spray on application, and it's lethal to BB for approx 3 months. We also carefully inspect mattresses, box springs, etc. when new tenants move in.

I live in Japan and there is a good reason that the Japanese custom is to remove your shoes in a place apart from your living area. It helps keep all kinds of bugs out of your home. They may also be on your clothes, in your bags, and in furniture or other second hand items that you may buy.

A fabulously informative video. I have got these bugs from a hotel - the dog got fleas too, which were soon dealt with by the vet. Originally I thought it was mosquitoes, so did not act immediately. .NOW I am on the case!!! I wish more of your advice applied to me. I live on a yacht. I have tried many YT remedies. Especially natural ones. I have asthma and cannot do strong chemicals, but have tried some. They persist. I have washed everywhere and bleached, then bicarb, vinegar and now spraying with a strong tea tree solution. Problem - bed: bunk bed attached to the wall, no headboard, no feet or box springs, dressing unit attached to the bed. Mattress -memory foam, I am told they do not enter this foam. Treated, and yesterday I bought a zipper cover and for the pillows. Supposedly to keep these bugs out? I have a good vac, no steamer nor washer.
I will have to locate a launderette. I am very bitten and obviously there are a lot of them about. I have tried the chemical "bomb" but the area is too open plan and too big. I am finding a lot of dead bugs/fleas, so something is working. Any advice? Can't do phone I'm afraid as I am deaf. Thank you for sharing this information, I will follow what I can as it makes sense, unlike several others on YT.

Thank you so much for your care in caring for us and our bedbug problem!!....I have bedbugs!!...I am biten all over my back and legs, it started couple of weeks to go, where I noticed these weird bites and thought spider, but my son showed me pictures of the bites and what they look like, and yes... I have them! I got a bedbug cover for mattress, those round traps for the legs, I bought this powder, I clean all sheets and stuffed animals, my close. I took my bed away from wall as I still somehow got bit, probably climbed up my wall like you said! Problem is, we think they may be in every room, and I have junk, and close in spare room ...so they could be in there right?..no bed... It sounds like I have to pay over a 1000.00 to get rid of them!.. As we have people living below us, so we don't know where they came from! I am mentally depressed, not able to sleep, feel very overwhelmed as I live by myself and have to worry about all this!.. I heard I have to empty all dressers as well! ..I have birds and a rabbit, so things can't be toxic. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated !!... I live in Canada so it is most likely long distance to talk on phone! Thank you so very much for your kind heart my friend!!

Love and Gratitude,

Debbie
