By quitting I am helping myself. It’s expensive and I am in a bad financial situation it’s a good change for me. 😅 this is gonna be fine

62 days nicotine free of a 15 year addiction. Completely cold turkey. You can stop when you’re really ready. I used to think that was bull shit, but it’s true. My biggest advice would be to speak to a therapist about it. If you can afford the habit you can afford to speak to a therapist once a week.

Also wanted to add to this if anyone read this. I had no physical withdrawal. I hesitated for so long quitting because I was afraid of withdrawals. I felt a little weird for a week or 2 but when I really understood that any symptom I felt was my brains way of trying to convince me I NEED to go back to vaping to feel normal I became subconsciously stronger against its tricks. I still struggle 2 months in but find my cravings are calming down

I should have learned the lesson from the Juul... Started Copenhagen long cut around 15, did that until 20, moved onto the Juul (women hated dip), by age 27 I was in the hospital for what they thought was a stroke(5 years of the Juul), turns out I was smoking the equivalent of 40+ cigarets a day (no clue how that was measured and/if I believe it).

Long story short, spent 5 days admitted into the hospital. and lone behold it was all due to the Juul and long term health issues it caused.

Fast forward to today, I'm 31, vaping again and have been for the last two years. I'm in shape, I haven't had a drink in over a year (just crossed that mark two weeks ago), but I've done a lot of damage internally.

I just threw my vape in the trash, threw the gum in the trash, and typed in "how to quit vaping."

Here we are now, and I'm currently listing to your podcast.

According to my DR, I have to put it down immediately. So here we go. Just wanted to say thank you for making these videos and taking the time out of your day to share.

Best of luck to everyone trying to quit.

Dalton.

quit a 20+ cig habit in 2013 by vaping, then slowly cutting back the nic % til I could quit that. Then stupidly picked up a disposable vape about a year ago. Now have to quit all over again

While quitting cold turkey may not work for everybody, many smokers prefer to quit vaping cold turkey. The other method is gradually cutting down, which may not be as effective as quitting straight away. If you're quitting cold turkey, avoid situations that will trigger a desire to vape, distract yourself with new activities, get support from family and friends, focus on the benefits of not vaping. Thanks for the inspiring video Andrew!❤👍

I love this guy. Never saw him before but I’ve been wanting to quit vaping. I hate how it makes me feel about myself and the negative effects on the quality of my life, lack of peace of mind, financial security, etc. I’m an alcoholic and am over 7 months sober, now I want to quit this crap of vaping. This dude really helped me a lot. Thanks ❤

All I needed to hear was that the chest pain I'm feeling right now is due to the fact that my lungs are slowly healing. I play soccer and vaping is one of the main reasons why my fitness level is so bad. It mentally makes it easier to go through the pain/withdrawal like this. Thank you Coach Andrew!

I am using the word "release" instead of "quitting". I had to dig deep on why quitting doesn't work for me. It going back to the saying "mama didn't raise a quiter". If i say im quitting vaping then im going against that saying. That's why im releasing vaping. It works for me

Thank you so much for this. I actually stopped buying vapes a few months back for about a month and occasionally hit someone’s vape at work. I felt good about myself and didn’t crave it unless I was around one. Then I decided to stop completely for 2 days and then the weather got really bad and I got bored which turned into sadness which turned into me actively vaping again. I’m on my 5th vape now and I feel my breathing getting bad again like before (which was one of my main reasons to quit.) My vape died today and I feel like I’m finally ready to let go, this video really helped ☺️

Hi I quit smoking around 20 years ago but started vaping because I was going through a marriage break up. I've found it much harder to quit vaping with more failed attempts than cigarettes. I'm on day 3 ATM and have been having intense cravings

Getting yourself in a good mental state is key to quitting. If your using nicotine to cope with life you will find it very hard to quit.

Well I quit alcohol and took up vaping instead (less trouble), but then I had a pint a year ago and fancied vaping and ended up with both (drinking and vaping habitually). So for years I've ping-ponged between both alcohol and vaping and I've decided that the only way out is to go 'cold turkey' - starting from today!

I made it about 48 hours till last night. The biggest problem I have is constantly feeling hungry. To stop myself from snacking nonstop, last night, I gave in and hit the vape for 2 long rips. It was empty cause I waited till I was out to quit. But there was still residuals in the tank. How do I fight this constant need to be feeding my face. The nicotine used to keep that at bay.

Hi there, my main issues have been anxiety, headaches, depression and loss of concentration. It's day 2/3 and I am struggling. I quit vaping for 6 months last year but went back after a breakup with the loml.
