The worst part of social anxiety is how other people feel off by your presence. They ask you if you’re okay in that situation because they know that you’re tense and uncomfortable even though you’re not trying to give off creepy or uncomforted vibes. I’m just going through life, I don’t mean anything by this at all. I wish more people understood it, and I hope to finally break free of it one day.

The hardest thing to overcome is the acceptance of being judged. Fully embracing being anxious, and allowing that to bother others, but not allowing that to bother you. Once you commit to that, and expose yourself to those situations consistently, then you will heal.

The hardest part is the beginning. Push through that, and keep going. It gets easier... you just have to do it everyday.

I once went on a date with a girl who I really liked. I suffer from social anxiety and as you would imagine, it intensified in the moment. I did three things which helped me overcome this -
I maintained eye contact, I focused on her facial expressions and what she was saying and told her that I was very anxious. Her response was extremely reassuring and put my mind at ease, she told me that she couldn't even tell and that I was doing great. We later go into a relationship and even though we are not together anymore, she did so much to help me overcome my social anxiety and feel comfortable with myself so I will forever be appreciative. I know that this information isn't relative however I wanted to share this to let others know that there is ALWAYS hope for an opportunity to overcome social anxiety and learning more about anxiety as well as other mental health issues/chemical imbalances has lead to me going to University to study to become a psychiatrist! I hope and pray that everybody overcomes their struggle with social anxiety or any other mental health challenges

I have social anxiety and it is so hard to get involved or just make friends in general. I try to be nice to everyone, compliment them, greet them, use manners and so many other kind hearted things to do, they treat me the same way back and it’s just great but the sad part is that they treat all other people differently like a friend they trust. When I compare one person to me, I’d met them at the same time but they just treat each other like a close friend. I don’t know how to make a close friend with social anxiety.

This video should help me though.

I wish all future generations a beautiful life without social anxiety

The most challenging aspect of social anxiety is the discomfort others sense from your presence. They might ask if you're alright because they can detect your tension and unease, despite your efforts not to appear awkward or unsettling. I’m simply navigating life and have no intentions of conveying these vibes. I truly wish more people understood, and I look forward to one day overcoming this entirely.

I sucks that when people see someone clearly suffering from social anxiety, instead of reaching out to see if they're ok... no they target you. Especially if you are a man.

This is facts, I noticed this a few years ago. If you walk into a room and you dont look around, you are afraid of the unknown. If you look around, there is no unknown, or atleast its decreased alot. Social anxiety is illogical but the eyes really do fix things

I'm reminding myself that I am safe on the path.

Part of it is also connected to being able to feel the emotions that the ancestors held back.

I am feeling the energy shift right now and breathing through.

The ancestors gave me permission to end the suffering.

My inner child recently told me she wants her voice to be heard.

My gift was not valuable in order to be in survival mode.

Yesterday my dragon FINALLY got unleashed.

Grieving this old version of myself.
Loving her so much
and so much gratitude towards how difficult this path has been.
And taking ownership that I have been creating this reality.

It feels like this needs to be voiced in order to alchemize it.

I unleash myself.

There is some sort of presence that believes that my spirit is so big
it will be impossible to find matches. Community.
Others who can hold as much space for me as I do.

Here I sit feeling it and crying it out. Watching it leave. Sending it home. Letting it go.
Declaring that I will not chose to go there anymore. It is not welcome in the home that I create.
I command light to fill this space. I am the keeper of the gate.

I love you I love you, you served a purpose that was great.

Our temple is being built, we wake up again and again.

The whole time I allowed myself to feel through this
I checked into my womb and heart and they were so solid and supportive.
I knew this was a mind virus incorporated into someone in my lineage way back.

I have been using my voice to sing, cry, scream, move.
I sing to my body when I don't know what to say.
I howl at the moon when I don't know what to pray.

Well the problem is - looking at people turns fight or flight for me. Or if they look at me that happens. What should I do 😭
It's hard for me to get a job like this and I don't wanna become homeless.. 🥺
