But my question is....why do we need saints to send the message to God while we can do it by ourselves?

I'll start with the word "worship". The word "worship" just as the word "pray" had a totally different meaning when Protestantism came. The very meaning of worship is to give worth to one who is worthy and pray is simply to ask.

But the Bible says only pray to the Father and only through Jesus, not to saints or anyone else.

(Jesus)He said to them,  “When you pray, say:
“‘Father,
hallowed be your name,
I'll follow Jesus and just go to the Father.

Look guys, I understand that saints were very holy and righteous people worthy in the sight of God but think about it: Jesus Christ came down from His state of perfection to the imperfect world which human beings had destroyed then and are still destroying now to create an alternative pathway to redeem humanity from their sins and create a state of imminence between God Himself and humans. With this mind, why do we need to ask saintly people who have already passed away to pray for our redemption when we have already been redeemed through the sacrifice that Christ made for us on the cross of Calvary. I don't know about you, but when I need something from my dad I ask him directly, not through my mum or my older sibling who seem to 'know him better'. Just like that, when I am in dire need of God's saving grace I ask Him directly without interceding with saints. Please don't take anything I have said as a hate speech but rather a message to open the eyes of the church today. Please ponder on the following questions: What does God really want from us, as followers of Christ? How can we fight against the enemy?

when we ask our friends to pray for us they are people who are alive right? But the saints and martyrs the're not here anymore and Jesus said I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.So why is it that we Catholics are told to ask the people who are"nt here anymore to pray for us when we can directly ask Jesus who interceeds for us to the father.please help me with this question lately this has been disturbing me alot.

The fact that people believe Catholics worship saints instead of asking them for help is very stupid.

My opinion is that MANY Protestants ALWAYS use SELECTIVE SCRIPTURE and point to 1Tim.2:5 "One Mediator" as if Catholics didn't know...IF, they would start reading from 1Tim. 2:1-onward they would read that St. Paul himself writes (1) URGES that petitions, prayers, INTERCESSIONS and thanksgiving be offered for ALL MEN, (2)Especially for Kings and those in authority, (3)Prayer of this kind is good and God Our Saviour is pleased with it. Our Most Blessed Virgin Mary interceeded for the guests in the wedding at Cana; Jn.2:1-5... Moses interceded for the Israelites (Ex.32:7-14)and God was going to kill them because they made a GOLDEN CALF IDOL but relented because of Moses. Our prayers to God ASKING Our Most Blessed Virgin Mary, Angels and Saints, are delivered to "THE ONLY ONE MEDIATOR WE CATHOLICS WHOLEHEARTEDLY BELIEVE IN" SEE, Rev.5:8, 6:9-10, 8:3, 18;20, James 5:14-16 Heb.12:22. So according to the belief of the over 50, 000 Reformed, Protestant, Churches, Religions St. PAUL SHOULD BE CALLED AN IDOLATER, RIGHT?.... WHAT ABOUT THEIR PASTORS THAT ASK THEM TO PRAY FOR OTHERS? Imagine that, their own pastors being IDOLATORS.

Do u have a chapter and verse for this? I’d love to hear the scripture that backs thus up because I’ve never seen it.

Ok but asking a friend to pray is different from asking someone who is in heaven to pray...where does it say in the Bible that people in heaven are waiting for a message to give to God? if so why not pray to every dead person you believe went to heaven?

I don’t see why praying to Saints is a big deal. I’ve prayed to the Virgin Mary various times and she’s one of my advocates including Saint Michael the archangel. As for my older brother, i also pray to Saint Joseph to intercede for my brother. So praying to Saints isn’t idolatry. Real idolatry is like worshiping false idols like from Rome, Greece 🇬🇷, Egypt 🇪🇬.
