Tips on How to Successfully Negotiation an Inspection Repair Request
1. Expectations are Everything-Start at the Buyer Consultation and or Listing Presentation
2. Paint the Picture of the Process-Discuss what Home Inspectors Search For
3. Common items that come up during the home inspection so that when it does show up its not their first time hearing it
4. Attend the Home Inspection with the Buyers
5. At the Conclusion of the Home Inspection have a preliminary repair request ready and review with the Buyers
6. Call the Listing Agent Following the Inspection and let her know of any MAJOR items that came up during the inspection and let them know you will have an inspection and repair request to them within 24-48 hours.
