Always avoided dips because I had crappy shoulder mobility. Added them and it completely transformed my chest. It sticks out like a plate of armor now. Dips, pushups, incline DB bench have been key.

if you are an experienced lifter, do more reps. 15 yrs I did this routine in lock up and came out 180 lbs and benched 315 my first gym day....its a legit superset, DO IT!

Great one! In addition, I do a couple of sets of (dips-pushups-Dips) then (Pushups-dips-pushups.

Good call Steve. I finish every bench day by doing this exact thing for 2 or 3 sets. By the last set i can only do about 2 push ups.

Your opinion…. Weighted push ups or weighted dips…….

I always feel close grip push ups more in my chest then dips, even when leaning forward with dips….

Might be worth adding u can actually use a slingshot when doing dips when ur completely spent just to help fry triceps...

i`m at 150 pounds right now and i can do easily 70 dips so more push ups after that are overkill for me 😂

do you have any experience with ppl with sensitive wrists doing dips and pushups? any recommendations for wrist wraps maybe? i currently use ’longer’ gloves but they dont give too much support (still getting ’cramps’ / numb hands after only a few reps) so wondering if there is a brand you know that has good ones?
