I was born with scoliosis which my parents and doctor never diagnosed. My mother screamed at Me to straighten my posture whenever I walked or sat at the table. I never knew why I couldn't straighten my shoulders. When I was in my 30's I was finally told by a doctor that I has a severe case of scoliosis and my spine was "twisted "! I am 66 now and have degenerative dic disease and sciatic. I walk all bent over and can't stand or sit for long periods of time. Laying down is the only way for relief. The orthopedic Dr. Says all they can do is put a rod and screws in my back! I am not going to do that! I just don't understand why there is isn't a cure for the problems with the spine when they can replace a face and land on the moon and prepare to go to mars!

I have ddd and spinal stenosis, had a c4 to c7 fusion 2 yrs ago. Over the last 5 months the pain has gotten worse and losing feeling in both hands and legs now. My quality of life is nearing zero and praying for help. Can't sleep and refuse pain meds due to also having uc colitis. BTW I'm 39, played college football and was a wild kid, paying the price now.

This is completely normal even in a young person. Some people have pain others don’t but ddd is a normal part of aging and nothing to worry about.

Dr., great Info. I've seen your later videos and just stumbled upon this one. DDD is Horrible - invoking Chronic Pain and Stiffness that people who don't have it (like my wife) just don't understand!! The terrible stiffness ROBS your strength making Chronic Fatigue a part of your Life. I have Spondyliosis, Stenosis, DDD, facet joint arthritis in many areas of my spine from the SI Joints (a Crucial aspect to all of the rest), to the top of my Skull. Chronic pain / Stiffness invokes Chronic Anxiety / Depression, all energy is diminished. I'm 70 yo, and a sufferor of these ailments for decades. In addition, I have dextroscoliosis of 25 degrees due to (IMO) the 1 inch shorter right leg sustained from a fractured femur in 1966 playing HS Football. That LLD was left unaddressed by the doctor and my parents and over the years, that Body transformation Trauma has wreaked Havoc. I'm attacking these maladies with as much natural substances I can discover. I only take the oaccassional Advil or Alleve (I find mixing it 1 Tyenol works very well for immediate pain alleviation), no Opinoids, on the Real Bad days or after I've done some slughtly strenuoous activities (like bending or lying down to play with Grandkids). The worst part of all of it, despite Pain Management doctor visits [which can be a waste of time other than to get updated MRIs to watch the progress], Acupuncture, 6 different Chiros, and all the Personal research I conduct, that it keeps Encoraching, it keeps getting little by little worse. That is THE worst aspect to this. One piece of advice that you don't mention is that your Discs are 80% Water. I never drank water ona regular basis....yes plenty of coffee, but not Water. That is crucial to stay Hydrated. I guess i copuld write a Novel of my misery, and I'm sure there are Millions out there that could as well. We can send a rocket to Mars, control robotic vehicles on Mars' surface by radio signals, yet WE can't like Spinal Issues like this ??

No one ever mentions genetic ddd however. Must be something beyond the medical community's comprehension I take it.
