I don't drink, smoke and I'm a vegetarian. Stretching/exercises made my back much much worse. Following my surgeries I did all the things listed for a good recovery. By week 6 I was getting familiar twinges, by week 8 I was back at square one. The only thing that works is complete bed rest. The opposite of what I was led to believe. 🙄
