I was feeling better and went right back to doing heavy squats and deadlifts. Then after that for a couple weeks the symptoms started coming back. Now that I watched this video I am going to slow it down and use machines where I am sitting. The most frustrating part for me is having to pull back the reigns even though I feel so strong. But the constant urge to pee after my heavy leg workouts isnt worth it right now.

Thank you for the video, as this is exactly where I am right now in my recovery. I have a home gym, consisting of only free weights, and I plan on starting my lifts slow and from scratch, starting with only the bar, and the lightest dumbbells. Would that be an appropriate alternate approach to slowly incorporating weight training back into my life?

I'm at college and I ride my bike around campus, only for short durations and I try to tand up as to not put pressure on my pelvic floor. Is this likely to hinder my progress? Currently in the relax the muscles phase of the recovery program.

I'm a 45 year old adult with many health problems. I injured my lower back in 2008. Further, I was diagnosed as being on the autism spectrum in 2017. So I've dealt with stress all of my life. I don't know if this would help me. :(

I train Brazilian jujitsu and started having these symptoms over a month ago. I also strength train with kettle bells and such. I just started on a healing program but not training jujitsu is driving me crazy. Would you think that after a couple of months I could start flow Rolling( light grappling)again?

Hi guys, so I’ve done 4 days of the week one routine after joining the program - my hips feel lighter n less tight so far but there’s been no effect on the pain as of it in the rectum and testicles. Is this normal?

You shouldn't be jogging with a hypertonic pelvic floor. Walk as much as you want, I do body-weight exercises for the arms and chest I do weights. Tried to jog and definetly felt the tension on the jog. I will hike, speed-walk and got an elliptical so no jarring. I also got bags for martial arts.

Hi Michael. I have been on this ordeal for a couple of months now. I have reduced all my workouts to low intensity. For cardio, i am using the elliptical machine and step up machine to keep some lower body strength/cardio vascular fitness. Followed with low weights on the machines you mentioned.

I have been doing your stretches, calming the nervous system down, internal work 2x weekly, calm yoga but my symptoms are not on a linear progression. Urinary urgency, testical pain continues after 3 months. I have a weak left glute that i discovered while i was trying to strengthen it as i am a long distance runner and this is exactly when my symptoms of cpps started. Do you think the imbalance / weak left glute could be the actual reason for this to start in the first place? I mean how do i strengthen my glute when i am supposed to take it easy with my lower body exercises?
