THE WICKED WILL BE TURNED INTO ASHES UNDER THE FEET OF THE SAINTS..
THE BIBLE IS CLEAR; THE WICKED ARE NO MORE AFTER BEING BURNT AS ASHES
Mal 4:3 And ye (SAINTS) shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day (JUDGEMENT) that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts.

THE idea that God will burn His rebellious children in Hell-fire for all eternity has led millions to reject God as a monster who is unworthy of love and worship - how could anyone love and worship a God who would torment their unsaved family and friends in Hell-fire forever? Many Christians have floundered trying to explain it, and few feel satisfied with their attempts. God’s Word reveals that this teaching of eternal conscious torment is actually a lie of the Devil to turn people off God.

How many are being punished in Hell today?
None. “The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished.”
2Peter 2:9.
“The wicked is reserved to the day of destruction. They shall be brought forth to the day of wrath.” Job 21:30.

Where are dead sinners?
“The hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.” John 5:28, 29.

Why will the wicked be resurrected?
“But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” Revelation 21:8.
The wicked will live a short time following the resurrection of damnation and reluctantly confess that God is good (Rom 14:11) before they die the second death.

When will sinners be cast into Hell-fire?
“So shall it be in the end of this world. The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; And shall cast them into a furnace of fire.” Matthew 13:40-42.

What is the penalty for sin?
“The wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Romans 6:23; James 1:15.
“God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16. “The soul that sinneth, it shall die.” Ezekiel 18:20.
“For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be.” Psalms 37:10.
“Destruction” (Job 21:30) “Perish” (Psalms 37:20) “Burn up” (Malachi 4:1) “Destroyed” (Psalms 37:38) “Consume away” (Psalms 37:20; Psalms 145:20) “Cut off” (Psalms 37:9) Devoured (Psalms 21:9).
The wicked will not receive everlasting life in Hell-fire. The “everlasting punish - MENT” (Matt 25:46) for sin is everlasting death, not everlasting punish - ING.

Where will Hell-fire be?
“And they [all the wicked] went up on the breadth of the Earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.” Revelation 20:9; Proverbs 11:31.
As the meek inherit the earth (Matt 5:5) the fire must burn itself out.

How long will the wicked suffer in the fire?
All will be rewarded “according to their works.” Matthew 16:27.
In justice, the most wicked will suffer the longest; the least wicked a shorter time (Luke 12:47-48), but all will eventually cease to exist.

Will the fire finally go out?
“Behold, they shall be as stubble; the fire shall burn them; they shall not deliver themselves from the power of the flame: there shall not be a coal to warm at, nor fire to sit before it.” Isaiah 47:14.
“For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch...And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the Lord of hosts." Malachi 4:1, 3.
Satan, the root, and his followers, the branches, will be no more.

Will the Devil be in charge of Hell-fire?
Never! “...the Devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone.” Revelation 20:10.
Jesus came that “through death He might destroy him that had the power of death, that is the Devil.” Hebrews 2:14.
“I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee... And never shalt thou be any more.” Ezekiel 28:18-19.
“Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the Devil and his angels:” Matt. 25:41.

What example of Hell-fire do we have?
“Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.” Jude 1:7.
“And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly.” 2Peter 2:6.

What will be destroyed in Hell-fire?
“It is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.” Matthew 5:30.
“Rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.” Matthew 10:28.
“The soul that sinneth, it shall die.” Ezekiel 18:20.

Isn’t destroying sinners foreign to God’s nature?
“The Lord...is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” (2Peter 3:9; Ezekiel 33:11).
“...I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die?” Ezekiel 33:11.
God has done everything He can to save us, but the choice to accept it is ours. If we will not turn from sin what more can God do? The wicked could not be allowed to do evil in Heaven and they would hate living with God, so in mercy God will perform His “strange act.” Isaiah 28:21 They will cease to exist after justice has seen to it that they are punished for the evil and suffering they have caused. This will break God’s heart, but for the wicked there are no other options. Sin will not exist for ever.

What are God’s post-hell plans for the earth?
“And I saw a new heaven and a new earth.” “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”
Revelation 21:1, 4; Isaiah 65:17.

“And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.” Rev 5:13.

I am not SDA and I whole heartedly believe the wicked are destroyed in the Lake of Fire. To compare other religions, cults etc isn't relevant. Muslims believe eternal conscious torment.
All throughout scripture God tells us the wicked perish, are destroyed, burned up, leaving neither root nor branch, are no more.

I don't know how the Bible can be any clearer. The wages of sin is death! Do we really have to debate the meaning of death? Also, don't just fear Him who can kill the body but fear Him who can kill the body and soul. Why would we fear God killing our soul if he says he would never do it? Anybody that thinks you burn forever and ever is not taking the clear scriptures for what they are and they are trying to read in to some of the more ambiguous scripture.

I grew up in the Seventh Day Adventist church.. At 17 years old, l died went to hell, although l was taught in church that hell does not exist in the present . One day l visited my Aunt, she was into witchcraft and at the time l didn't know .. I sat speaking to her in the living room and as soon as she left the room l was attacked by an unseen force that began to strangle me. I struggled with this unseen entity but was fighting a losing battle. I found myself travelling at lightening speed through a dark tunnel, l abruptly stopped in a dark, horrible place.. The darkness was so thick.. l could hear the screams of people as if they were in torment and agony.. It was NOT a dream.. l had never done drugs, nor drank ... I was horrified, because l realized that l was in hell and that l would be there for eternity.. l cried out to God, l said God please save me l don't want to go to hell.. After saying this l found myself back in my Aunt's living room... That was almost 20 years ago but it seemed as if it were yesterday.. Hell is real...

You are leaning on your own understanding as well.

"Unquenchable fire". How is this term really used? In Jeremiah 17:19-20, 27, God says (bcse of the disobedience of His people) that He will kindle a fire in the gates of Jerusalem that shall not be quenched (v27). The fulfillment of this we find in 2 Chronicles 36:14-19. Tell me is the fire that "shall not be quenched" still burning now at the gates of Jerusalem?

Correction: Adventists "believe" in hell, they just don't believe it exists yet. Their main reason is: if you will be judged on the final judgement at the end of the world, why would you be sentenced to hell in the meantime? It's like sentencing someone before trial.

Amen!!! Jesus talked about Hell, that it is a place of fire FOREVER, and gnashing of teeth, the worm does not die...and warned. He is the Way, the Truth and the Life, He is the ONLY way to Heaven.

Not to mention that God is a just and fair Father, Savior and Guide. He would never have (for example) Cain ' burning in "hell" for all of eternity and have Him burning far longer that say a mas murder of today. God is not a tyrant, or someone who enjoys the suffering of the wicked. He states Himself that He takes no joy in the death of the wicked. Why would He ever have a place where the wicked are being tortured, suffering and screaming for eternity? He wouldn't. He would have to hear that for eternity if it were so. He is a merciful Father, God. Not a cruel God. As His holy word states....God is Love!

Gods holy word states that the wicked will be destroyed, consumed. When was the last time you consumed or destroyed something and it was still there?? Revelation 20:6 states " Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years." If the wicked were not to be destroyed then what is the purpose of the second death if not to end the existence of the wicked? Revelation 20:7-10 tells us that after the 1000 year reign of the saints(Gods faithful children) satan will be loosed from his prison. He will deceive the wicked one last time and surround the city of God, New Jerusalem, and seek to take it from God but they are devoured by fire from heaven. When was the last time you devoured something, or saw fire devour and destroy something and it remained? Devoured means it will be destroyed or consume. Verse 10 of chapter 20 states that the false prophet(false teachers) and satan will be cast into the lake of fire and brimstone. It never says that mankind will be cast into the lake of fire. Please trust in all of God's word and not just what goes with what you have been taught. God never contradicts Himself. EVER!

Jesus used illustrations as was foretold by prophet Isaiah, and often what was familiar to the jews, his audience at the time.
The jews were acquainted with the unquenchable fire, the local rubbish dump which they used outside Jerusalem s walls.
The background to this comes from the greek word used , (the language the gospels were recorded, )
"Gehenna "

Revelation 21:4 New King James Version (NKJV)

And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be NO MORE DEATH,  nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be NO MORE PAIN, for the former things have passed away.”

I am SDA member and I believe from studying bible and from testimonies of people that hell fire is real and it is an everlasting place of torture. Just as Jesus mentioned. Many SDA members cling to every word of Ellen White. But am more of a Berean Christian always willing to search things for myself. The bible or scripture is very sufficient for me by the help of the Holy Spirit. Amen

Where there is no God, there is also no life. The problem is that people have adopted the dogma that the human soul must be absolutely immortal and for them it is not important whether with God or outside God. The saved have eternal life with God but do they have eternal life with Satan in hell? I do not think so. There is no eternal life without God. The Bible nowhere says that eternal life is possible without God. The problem is that people misunderstand Bible parables. Logic says that God cannot be a sadist who gives man in the hands of the tormentor to be abused for eternity. God is love so it is written.

Show me in the scripture's where God created hell in his 6 days of creation and rested on the 7th day from all his works. Remember everything that God created was good, he did not create anything after those created days.

I think it’s absolutely bizarre that people are so bent on there being an eternal hellfire. why would you even want that to exist? you want people to burn forever in torment? if so then you have motives even God Himself does not have

Eccl 9:5, 10
Wise words from inspired Solomon, to remind us there that those unconscious, are unaware of, therefore unable to use their senses.
That said, what purpose would it serve to use fire or ice for that matter ?"
The opposite of life is death
Existence and non existence.

Greek philosophy in this case,
Egyptian ideology and other ideas from previous civilisations or world powers were included in the list which the prophet Daniel was inspired to record .
Those listed, exerted influence over the teaching God made known, " to the sons of Jacob ( psalm 147:19) "with whom passed the blessings of the covenant he formed with Abraham, who was privileged to call "friend ".
