Do SDAs base their beliefs on Ellen G. White? #shorts

Not one of our doctrines originated with the writings of Ellen White. I believed every doctrine of the SDA church before I ever read a book by her. When I finally did start reading her writings, it only enhanced my understanding of the Bible and deepened my Love and appreciation for Jesus Christ. That is what a true prophet is supposed to do.

If you put every doctrine and belief aside and simply read the bible, you would never come up with the same doctrines as the SDA church. Even the scriptural basis for the doctrines don't give the detail or any indication that the doctrines have. You don't have to read EGW to believe her teachings. Just go to a SDA church and you'll learn them. The second you read enough of the bible on its own you'll start picking up doctrinal errors. Like seriously that's concerning.

The Investigative Judgement is not anywhere found in the Bible. The Adventist Encyclopaedia knows where to find the IJ doctrine it says the Great Contraversy an Ellen White book

I'm so blessed to be a Seventh Day Adventist. I understand that people can have opinions on other churches but theres no proof in the bible that says you can judge their beliefs.

That's right, Our Foundation is GOD'S Word and Ellen G. White's writings does direct Us to HIS Word and it's very clear that She does that.

SDA's Idolizes Commandment number 4.
As much as if you gave up the sabbath, you will lose your salvation. They also bring divide in the one body of Christ preaching that those preaching on Sunday are Pagan and will receive the mark of the beast.

They also blaspheme the Holy Spirit by saying that the Sabbath is the seal of Salvation.

The real seal of Salvation is the Holy spirit

I am a Seventh Day Adventist, and I praise God He led me to the SDA message. I can tell you that the Bible IS THE unrefuted WORD OF GOD. NOTHING stands HIGHER than GODS WORD, NOTHING. EG Whites writings point to Gods Word. I have never read anything in EGW's writings that take way from or add to Gods word as of yet. Unfortunately, there are some people (Adventist) who seem to hold her writings above Gods word, and EG White herself said It is wrong to do so. She says that if you find something in her writings that seem to contradict the Bible, we should take the Bible over her writings. It saddens me when I go to an Adventist Church service and hear more EGW quoted than Bible quotes. Ms. White would not approve of this, and I don't think God does either.
I praise God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, that Jesus Christ is my Savior.

You got to remember that he's a calvinist and the calvinist movement was an extreme reaction to works-based theology from the Catholic church. Basically, everything that Calvinists teach strangely bringing them closer to the ideology of the Catholics because they believe they are part of an elite club....
