So it's called "port forwarding" everywhere, but tp-link obscures it by calling it "Virtual Servers". However, now I know where it is, it's now working

Everyone: "Port Forwarding"
TP-Link: "Virtual Servers"

I feel like the system is a lot more complex than it should be compared to other routers/services

This video doesn't show you accessing it from an outside network.

Thanks, have followed instructions and port forwarding seems to be set up correctly...but it doesn't work. I'm trying to use it to access my Home Assistant server remotely using duckdns. Duckdns bit is working as I can ping my IP. But I just get timeout error from HA when trying to access remotely, Not sure if HA or port forwarding is the issue. Is there a simple way to test just the port forwarding that I set up?

Hello how can i change my port forwarding in archer c50?

nice simple article. the remainder of the configs lie with
1. identifying the ports being used by the internal device (if not 80) via the product documentation, and
2. the isp enabling port forwarding on the ONT or router.

HI, if I have 2 helium devices at home that use port 44158 I had no problem adding my first helium but when I add the 2 helium I have this as an error “this item conflicts with existed items.”

Got to love that desciption feature that wel the actual routers dont have. And why call port forwarding virtual servers. Do you aim to make it unfindable? It's always bin called port forwarding and you decide to give it a different name. Just brilliant...NOT

Thanks for the video. Slightly confused though. The Wan IP of the router doesnt relate to my IP from my ISP. Normally I would do myip:80. This video works for the local network but when I go remote it doesnt work. I have tried myip/routerwanip:80 and that doesnt work

This is all good and well but how do you open an entire scope of ports without having to make a forwarder for each port. For instance, 30010 to 30100?

Can someone answer me pleas.
Does this mean that if i port-forward a FTP port to an ip that FTP services are going only to that IP and no other. So if i want to make a server in my house i'll need two routers. After the first one i'll have all my devices connected and a second router on witch to connect for example a FTP server and configure the second router to portforward only FTP port. Sory for bad english.
