We love TP-Link Switch products from the 5 port, 8 port, to the 10 port switch. These switches are reliable and plug and play. Thanks for watching.

This is a great switch, I have had it for a year, no issues ever. The metal case is solid, and looks good. This switch just works, good quality product for the money. I use it in my little home theater.

Can I go router to switch to switch to device?

For example, router is in hallway, plug into a switch, plug 1 of those connections to a remote room. In that remote room can I then plug that connection Into another switch and have 3/4 things connected back?

I bought the same TL-SG1008D. When power is plugged in, no LED light at the front panel. Does that mean the switch is faulty? my Intention was to replace the 5 port router with this switch as i hv now got a TP link Deco M4 mesh wifi system. Can someone assist?

hey ultimate tech hub, give me some info if you want to.
I have an older tp link switcher working fine, i connect only two devices with lan cables.
a ps4 and a android tv box. My router gives the switcher a steady 100mbps connection.
However both the ps4 and the tv box get each 90mbps steady of course. What is the reason i am having a 10mbps deficit on these devices?is it the switcher or something else?thanks for your time.

So does it not matter which port you plug the ethernet coming IN into? The rest automatically act as outs?

So My question with these is, I'm using a router to connect to my stuff but limited to 100Mbps. Will this help me reach my full speed that I have contracted with my ISP?

i have issue with this switch, i have a 500mbps internet speed from my ISP. Connection directly from router to laptop is 500mbps, but whenever i use this switch, it limits to 100mbps. I've tried buying two new cables for connection between Router>switch>laptop, but the problem still remains. I even tried both setting the duplex to auto configuration and also 1gbps configuration. Any idea how to solve this?
