How about camber bar bench? Similar movement pattern, requires a ton more control and has a very deep range of motion.

Larsen in A tier for me, also close grip incline and block press in A tier . Spoto is great and harder but block press easier on the shoulder and easier to overload the triceps

I personally use decline bench a lot because it feels WAY better on my shoulder. And Because you have no leg drive, it forces you to get all the stability from your core and back, which can be good for people who struggle with those. Definitely not D tier IMO.
