Getting upset about pain doesn’t take it away. Thinking about and replaying the past doesn’t give you the ability to change what has already occurred. Worrying, wishing and hoping things were different doesn’t make anything actually change. Let go of the events of the day and surrender into a deep, tranquil sleep. Give yourself permission to simply let go into your own inner peace and self-healing through acceptance and surrender.

What do you want to let go of? What has become too heavy a weight to bear on your journey? Like the falling leaves, it’s time to clear out and free yourself of things you’ve been afraid to let go of. Without the falling of the leaves, there can be no new growth.

We can learn from our faults and grow from our experiences if we allow them. Know that without suffering, we cannot know joy. Without darkness, we cannot know light. Allowing life as it is can lessen any struggle and perhaps, additional, unnecessary suffering.

Frequently, the word “surrender” has negative energy to it. You may think of having to give up something that is important to you or lose control over a situation. Surrender does not mean giving up. When the word surrender is used as a mindfulness practice, it can also be the opportunity to give up anything that is no longer serving you or something that is keeping you stuck.

Ive lost both my mum and dad in under 3 months. My partner has been been diagnosed with cancer, and im currently awaiting possible surgery for a back injury....this year has been incredibly difficult and heartbreaking. Listening to these actually helps with getting some sleep and getting mind into a place of peace and relaxation. I'm happy I came across this channel....thank you 🙏

July 6th marks my first cancerversary. I found Sara Raymond videos a few days later . These videos have helped escape the darkness and despair I was feeling. I listen to Sara everyday. I start each morning with Gratitude Affirmations. In the evening I listen to meditation practices that help me sleep. I am forever grateful for all the work that Sara and Les do to help us all.

I never realized how much I needed to learn the art of surrender until I came across this sleep meditation. The concept of accepting things as they are has allowed me to let go of so much unnecessary tension and worry. I've been listening to Sara's voice guide me many a morning to start my day and many an evening to prepare for sleep. I have tried listening to others but they mostly sound like fingernails on chalkboard to me. Also, it's not just her voice, it is the content within the meditations that make them so powerful. The Mindful Movement is the only YouTube channel I recommend to students and friends for meditations. Thanks for all you do. Namaste 🙏

Somehow, I was guided to this calming beautiful meditation this morning. My Aunt passed away the previous day and I was feeling tremendous guilt for not getting to visit her. I know she's in a better place now and this meditation helped me cope with all my feelings of grief, sadness, guilt. So beautiful, thank you 😓💕

As a 50 plus person, Guided meditation has been an incredible revelation to me. Why don't medical practitioners embrace this holistic approach and encourage patients with sleep anxiety to try it. Would save billions of pounds on the cost of pills and change people's mindsets for the better. Thank you so much for your generosity.
