Sounds like a contradiction. Ask me for "anything" and you shall receive but it has to fall into my category. Sounds like what I need I won't receive because I'm suppose to struggle for the better good. As a gay Christian... I don't believe that God wants me to be with anyone. Instead my belief is that I am to remain lonely, cold, and chronically depressed to the point where I have lost important things in my life. Yet why do I still believe in Him

Doesnt make sense... you clearly believe in fate... so how can one ask if you can be healed from a sickness if fate (Gods Will) can be that you die with that disease. You cant possibly know his "will" if you believe in fate. There would be no reason to ask anything at that point... because his "will" conquers all your requests. And for jesus to say "ask ANYTHING"... then you put stipulations on it .. is confusing and contridicting. Maybe jesus should have said "ask for anything "good" and ill give it to you..
