Really hit home. As self image is a big problem. Appearance and clothes and worried about what I look like and feeling like I’m unable to wear certain clothes. But I have children and want to enjoy them before they grow up. ... I just want to feel good about myself !!! And be “ok” when I look in the mirror. It’s a hardship. Thanks kristy !

Gods word reminds me of who I am and who He is. His word says I am fearfully and wonderfully made. That I am precious in His sight. His word also says that a man without self control is like a city without walls (left defenseless) as I learn self discipline with food and self control I am reminded that I need to be safe from the influences that highly processed food can cause. All of this being said to say each day on Code red I am learning more about myself

Omg thank you for this podcast and many more this one right here turned on the light to what and why i was doing to keep myself from achieving my success in my weight loss and i know code red works my brother and sister in-law dropped weight and she has the energy of a 2 year old lol i know because she makes her grandbabies tired i Kept failing though but that was because i wasn't as ready as i thought i was and i was self sabotaging and started doing it again this time with nibbles until this video i got this thank you for having my back and watching what yourself and others struggle with them making a podcast on it your a beautiful soul and i for one am grateful for your real

What do you recommend for a food to take with my pills at night? I finish eating at 6:30 but can't take me pills on an empty stomach at 10 pm.

I overcame my self sabotaging behavior by listening to the What's Eating You series, the first part like 3 times. I also journaled about my behaviors and had my supportive boyfriend and Code Red friends talk me down from self sabotaging. I've built a good support system so if I battle it again in the future, I've got my resources. The first month was hard but the series and the first challenge I did helped get me on track.

Honestly, I had to put a child lock on my fridge so I would have to pause and think "why am I getting into the fridge right now?". Then I would wrestle through how I'm feeling and why. I would then turn away from food and find something else to do...usually household chores 🙃
