My ex criticised and pecked at me all day long and when I eventually reacted, he told me I couldn't handle criticism!

When I ended up in tears on holiday, he said he didn't understand why he said some of the things he said sometimes.

Mine threw me out in a fight. I thank God every day to let me leave still healthy and in one piece. Guess what-They didnt "mean it" after ignoring me trying to talk about the minor injury he gave me. 4 years and no date nights- and suddenly he plans an expensive honeymoon? The game plan was as subtle as a brick through a window.

That was a line female narc I knew would say to me,

“I can’t be all that bad since you still want to be with me...?”

I found this very odd and telling- this was as close to her admitting the truth as I got, almost self admittance she knew what she did and how she treated me was awful.
Her narrative and smear campaign was that I was the issue and reacting badly to nothing for no good reason as she was simply innocent....
But.
Of course.
It was me as I was willing to still be with her, and she was faultless.

I saw my ex yday with some woman in his car. The best feeling is that it didn't bother me one bit. He waved at me and i just turned the corner. Twenty mins later I received s message from him trying to explain who she was. Did I forget to mention hes been blowing up my phone with the BS messages begging and pleading 😅😅😅😅😅😅... Anyway so I normally ignore him but after his explanation about the woman I politely said "why are you explaining your self...what you do and who you are with is none of my concern...plus I don't care." He hits me with IT HURTS MY FEELINGS THAT YOU DONT BELIEVE ME 😅😅😅... nobody's feeling are as easily hurt more than a narcs. But they love hurting yours. The funny part was he felt he needed to lie to me lol. Him pleading his case of innocence just make him look even more guilty of what I never even accused him of lol

Can I ask why does the blame game come up when you tell a narcissist you will not allow them to treat you the way they have. Or ask you to do something that makes them feel good, then tell you to stop doing it you are making them uncomfortable? Both times I ran into this with both ex’s and when I explained what was going on, I was just told to leave him alone.
