*THE SESSION*
We begin today's Yin Yang Yoga for Autumn session seated, moving into padmasana (lotus) and ardha padmasana (half lotus) variations. Kneeling postures such as toe stretch and ustrasana (camel) progress into half kneeling forward fold into pigeon. A beautiful standing flow sequence brings the heat, and includes all three virabhadrasana (warrior) postures, ardha chandrasana (half moon), extended side angle, and trikonasana (triangle). We ground back to the earth with some supine stretches before savasana.
*THE SERIES*
Experience a tender yoga practice that combines the soft and lingering aspects of gentle and restorative yoga with the revitalizing power of hatha and yin. This Yin Yang 8-week yoga series flows through dynamic and still movement to mirror the ebbs and flows of seasonal change as we move from summer towards winter. Enjoy an autumnal practice to situate you in the beautiful change. Come to any number of sessions.

I hold certifications as Reiki Master, yoga instructor, personal trainer, group fitness instructor, indoor cycling instructor, and BodyPump instructor, which I have aquired since I began working in the fitness industry in 2002. Wellness is one of my many passions, and I feel that cultivating many interests is a way to stay well in mind, body, and heart.
