Transition from late summer to fall with more ease...

It's the time of transition from late summer to fall and for many this transition can be challenging both mentally and physically - resulting in energy feeling stuck or low and digestion struggling. In Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurveda, there is a period of time between seasons in which the body readjusts. In today's practice we focus on grounding mind and body for stability during this transition as well as stimulating digestion. We work with the Spleen/Stomach meridians as well as the Lung/Large Intestine meridians to help the body smoothly transition from one season to another.

These are transitional times, the temperature is going down, it feels like summer is over.
Will save this one for a calm hour at the weekend.

Aprille I wasn’t looking at the video when I heard the kitty making sounds and for a second I thought it was a baby crying. So very cute and adorable, I almost melted 😘😻. I absolutely love seeing your fur babies in the videos.

I enjoyed this practice this lazy Labor Day morning. Some of the postures were especially challenging in my body today, especially the lunge with fingers turned out. Whoa boy! I wonder what that is telling me? I love the calm centering aspect of Yin. Thank you for your classes! Oh, and I LOVE your kitty!

Thank you Aprille & PJ this class just helped me feel soooo much better! I really love these yin classes that work both the upper & lower body. I love the more concentrated ones too but often feel like something is "missing" if I only work one half lol I do tend to feel a lot of anxiety and tension pop up around this time of year and this really helped! Namaste :)
