Seeing that Stormtroopers were saluting to the two even after being tailed was a sweet moment, I was proud to see stormtroopers in this show, they are people as well, not faceless drones for cannon fodder.

This just shows the true strength of the Empire when plot armor isn't against it.

This scene plus the Bill Barrs speech earlier about if you were born on a different world then you would believe something else and wear a different armour really fits with painting the imperials as the good guys for a single second as well as Thrawn's quote about thousands of worlds live under imperial rule without seeing a stormtrooper or hearing a tie fighter scream overhead. It really humanises the thousands of helmets of stormtroopers that we see killed on screen.

We need more shows like this, everyone forgets that many of the Imperials are not that different than any other soldier beyond their faction or reason for fighting against the Rebels.

This scene really put into perspective that storm troopers were people as well. Many who served against their will but always fought for their comrades

EDIT: It's been made very clear to me that the stormtrooper corps was an all volunteer outfit. My bad. The dozens that continue to comment angrily on how wrong I am can now settle down lol. They got some CAS from the Empire and then got a salute from every Stormtrooper. That's really pretty badass

Man this is awesome Disney should do more like this with stormtroopers, they volunteer because they believe in the cause of the empire. Or maybe it’s the only job they can get, where they have 3 meals a day and some pay. I mean they are just humans like any other human, they have their own thoughts and opinions

Some became stormtrooper because their family and friends were put in danger by the rebels. Remember not all of the rebels had a good moral compass and would do anything to stop the empire.

This scene is the ultimate proof that Stormtrooper can hit, but plot armor doesn't allow them when protagonists are on screen.

Everyone is saying that a lot of the troopers didn't want to fight for the empire, but there were a bunch that did but just because some felt the empire was right does not mean they are bad .

Fun fact and if i can remember correctly, theres a comic book (canon) of how a son became a stormtrooper after some rebels basically killed an entire family when trying to take farming supplies, theres devices which produce oxygen.
