I like how this series Illustrates how dominant Alliance/Republic fighters were. TIES are cool because they're swarm fighters launched by the hundreds, but it's cool how 3 X-wings are a match for a small station, perfectly in-line with how they perform in the original trilogy.

His plan was millions more star destroyers and tie defenders.
Instead the Republic uses hyper drive fighters.
