Up to 1 year for recovery? What a relief. I wish my surgeon told me that. I’m a parkour athlete and had my surgery August 19, 2022. Dorsiflexion is limited/painful even with doing PT everyday. My doctor said I’d be 100% and back to competing after 3 months but there’s NO WAY😂 Thanks for the video, I’ll give myself 6 more months.

I’m going through this right now. Broke my fibula and ankle about 7 weeks ago, surgery 5 weeks ago. Started physical therapy and in an ankle brace. So far everything he has said is spot on for me. Great video, thanks

Watched many of your vids when accident happened. Had at least partial tears on both interior and exterior sides. Only had an xray done. Started installing countertop after 3 days of happenings. In a bootie onlyn fabricated in shop for 12-14hr days.
210lbs, 6'3" soccer doodoo happened. Even my toes were purple for days. Watching these vids are crucial for a proper recovery. I'm about 4months out, can jog over 4miles in 45mins and try to do at least half of it on grass(around a big golf course with 90yrs old grandpa in a tricycle).
Thanks for all your work and knowledge!!!

I saw your video on lymphedema and my Podiatrist in Alabama put a Unna Boot on my leg and was so helpful. The swelling and weeping went down but this is so prevalent and so many need help. Keep helping us, Doc.

Bimalleolar ankle fracture on 9/28/22, and I'm finally starting to walk with partial weight and crutches after 7 weeks post-op. I'm fortunate to already have had a trusted PT who gave me more info on what to expect at this stage of recovery. My surgeon never mentioned issues with the nerve pain I had within the first week and potentially developing temporary plantar fasciitis as I start walking. This is all a long-winded way of saying I'm really glad I also came across this video (never thought to put an insole in the boot) and I'll be sharing it with her. Thank you!

His video is great thank you. I'm 16 weeks post op from talus surgery with 2 screws. My pt went well but seems to be better from home thanks to this video. I've been back to work part time in a boot. I do physical labor. My ankle seems like it's getting better however my foot when walking has alot of pain. Almost like my ft is broken. Is this normal healing after this long post op?

Hi. I am over in the UK and in week 14 after left ankle fusion. Before and after fusion I have tried to do a bit of research, but there are not many quality videos out there. I just wanted to say that your video presentation is very informative and the best source I have come across.

I broke my ankle about 4 weeks ago and went to a world renown institution. I did not receive this detailed information, was not asked to FU with my podiatrist, and PT was not recommended. THANK YOU so
much for this valuable info!

Thanks for the advice I found it very useful. I had my op.(6 screws, 2 plates) and half way through being in cast. I can't wait to get back my mobility and start my rehab. As I miss walking/hiking.
